Progress during week three:

During this week we managed to test the circuit once again, this time we got an aux cable to be able to connect it to the phone so that it plays music. It was discovered that the stereo amplifier works when music is connected at the input instead of of the function generator. The wires were soldered to the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Problems Faced:

A few problems were faced during testing, the mono amplifier differently doesn't work when music is connected, produces random sound. The speakers couldn’t be powered enough, they required 30W and so a power amplifier was required to produce this. Due to speaker’s circuit doesn’t amplify noise any more than a phone would


Goal for week four:

o    Find a new output for the system.
Re-work the mono circuit so that it works for amplification.

  Week Two: 11 February 2022   Meeting Attendance: ·        Daniel Knight ·        Conor Lambe ·        Itamar Panzo   Progress during week two: The first amplifier was built using an LM386, we had decided to work on the poster as well as the two other amplifiers, the OPA2134PA and OPA134PA. It was then later realized that the two remaining amplifiers were the same so only one more was built. We had used two AC inputs for the OPA2134PA, simulating stereo and we managed to get a gain of 2. We connected the speaker to the circuit that Conor had built,  and proved that the audio was being amplified as the amplitude/frequency was being changed.
